Google finished the testing stage of beta version for Chrome web browser

The Google has finished the testing stage for Chrome Browser. Marissa Mayer, the vise CEO of Google, announced this on Le Web 08 conference in Paris. New Users can download the Official Chrome from Google ,

and there will be automatic update for the old users with beta version. If you want to know your Chrome received the latest update, Click About page on the Chrome, and select update. Usually Chrome will check itself for the update every 5 hours.

Sundar Pichai, the Google development manager said, the new Chorme is more stable and we have fixed many bugs from the old version, especially on the multimedia area. And also new Chrome is about 50% faster. There are new functions for new Chrome, includes management system for import and export tags for administrators and a better security options. The development team still working on the RSS Feed and data sheet, but the priority tasks are Chrome for Mac/Linux and Plug-in Support.

Pichai said, our development information is transparent. User can go to Chromium.org to get our latest development stage or download the Google Chrome Channel Chooser to access the any update and even the last night’s developing result.

Compare with other Google product. The development speed of chrome is very fast (only take 100 days from beta version). Pichai said the Chrome has achieved Google’s stability and performance standard, and have passed all internal testing. Google has the great plan for Chrome, not only for its performance but also reputation. Google wished the Chrome can be accepted widely from common internet users to the enterprise and become the default build-in web browser for every new computer.
